"That's Going to Leave a Mark"

Leaving a Mark: An Insightful Conversation on Trauma
During Renew, Pastor Bob and Jennifer will lead an insightful conversation about the lasting impact of trauma. They will delve into the depths of the human spirit, exploring the ways in which trauma leaves an indelible mark on one's life.

Together they will acknowledge that trauma doesn't discriminate and discuss the many layers of trauma, from specific events that haunt one's memories to the pervasive aftermath that lingers in the subconscious. They explore how trauma can shape one's perception of the world, influencing relationships, career choices, and even one's self-worth.

Pastor Bob and Jennifer will leave the Renew community with hope. They emphasize the power of community, drawing upon the transformative strength of support networks and therapeutic interventions. They shed light on the resilience that lies within each individual, sparking a beacon of possibility in the face of adversity.

Through their compassionate exchange, Pastor Bob and Jennifer unveil the importance of acknowledging and processing trauma—both on an individual and societal level. They remind us that though trauma may leave a mark, it does not define the entirety of one's existence. Instead, it is an invitation to embark on a journey of healing, growth, and empowerment.
